Little Rabbit

🐇Hello. I am a little brown rabbit and I was told that I have cute fluffy cheeks. I used to live in the human’s backyard. I wasn’t born there, but I lived there most of my life. Of course, I didn’t have too much place to run and jump, and sometimes my owner could forget to feed me or could neglect my existence, but there was enough room and reasons to feel happy. I really liked my home, my little hole and that green grass around. I felt secure. But one day everything changed. I heard some other people saying that I am caged, that it is a terrible thing to do and that I should be set free. I heard them saying that my owner is selfish and he…

Page Four. When Chaos knocks on your door.

Pages flew fast under Tommy’s fingers. Stories and notes here and there, some very short, some pretty long. He didn’t care about those right now. He looked for a specific story, until he finally found it. I can’t believe that we made it! I am here, in the freaking Linnbrook! I feel like I grew up so fast, I am on my own now, I am an adult and I have a family! Who knew that that morning at the coffee-shop and small talk with a random stranger will lead to this?! And now I am at his house. It is so much bigger than my old apartment: huge living room, huge kitchen, “office”, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Interior has light beige walls and dark wooden frames everywhere. A…

Tommy. Page Four.

Morning began as usual: quiet room, because everyone was asleep after drinking night or at work already. Outside of his room, Tommy smelled cigarettes and something that reminded about dirty socks, but he got used to this smell. Tommy came to work fifteen minutes before his official shift and played some game on his cell phone. He had mixed feelings about the diary and tried not to think about it anymore. Should he really bother? His tiny dark shell felt threatened. He didn’t like to get involved with all this action, mystery, possible communication with people. He liked his books, games and circle of people, kept to a very minimum. He liked his room at work, where he could just tinker and repair. Machine parts here and there on the…

His lips and hands… it all felt so magical, like in a fairy tale… I feel like I can fly! I can’t believe that I lost my head like that, but it is the best feeling ever! He said that we should move in together, he wants to take me to his house in Linnbrook! It must mean that he is serious, so from now on I will be the happiest girl ever! My girlfriends will be so jealous when I will tell them! But what I won’t tell them is about our night together. I can share this only with the papers of my diary, I don’t want to forget…

Tommy. First Page

That was what Tommy saw on the last page of a dirty diary. Tommy didn’t have the luxuries of a good life. His mom ran away with a rock band musician when he was 10 years old. One morning he heard a noise and his dad’s scream, “Lora? Lora!”. Little Tommy sat up in his bed and looked through the window with his sleepy eyes. His mother, Lora, was at the car, opening its door in a rush, throwing in her bag on the back seat and jumping in right after. The car looked small and rusty, but it got away very fast so his dad couldn’t catch up. Tommy remembered that his dad, David Blackmoore, was just standing there on the street in his robe, looking at the corner…
