Post of Motivation :)

I didn’t write for a while, but this is almost end of the year, and I decided to write a motivational post, as a part of “coping with depression campaign” :) When I was in a deep depression, I hated motivational posts, because it seemed to me that nothing like that will ever happen to me. Why bother to read about success of others? 😓 Yes, it happened with these people, but won’t happen to me, because my life seemed to be always dark and sh*tty. Seemed that I had problems with everything in my life and there was no hope to fix them. I couldn’t start to think about positive 😖. I was full of anger and jealousy, for my ex who left me for another girl, because I…

Question #5: How to turn life back to happiness

Hello, my friends! I hope you were able to find your way through the depression, as I did. I hope that my writing could help you, at least a little bit. Now this is the time for a final article about fighting depression, which speaks about the final stage, when the pain or emptiness transfers into joy or happiness. This is the stage, where person gets healed as much, as possible. In previous article I listed things which can help to change focus and start enjoying your life again. Did it help? Do you feel better? Now the best thing to seek, the real cure - is love 💘. Love and feeling of security counters a lot of negativity and brighten up the hope. Of course, finding love is not…

Question #4. How to fill the emptiness?

Now when the sharpest pain is no more presented (whatever helped you, time or pills), it is time to find a new purpose in life and how to make it meaningful again. For me that was a big problem, because whole my life, since I was a teenager, my purpose was to build a relationship, which should lead to a loving family. This didn’t work quite well and now I know why (I learned a lot about phycology behind women and relationships in general). Either way, my life was (is?) so empty and meaningless, that it was terrifying. When I was in pain, nothing was helping me, because every positive thing was reminding me that I cannot share it with Him, so it never will be like it used to…

Question #3: What resources use for help?

There are many things that can help with depression: seeing a counselor, antidepressant pills, reading motivational books/blogs, hanging out with friends, new hobby. I would suggest to try them all, starting from the end of the list and see at what point you will feel better. As humans, we can heal, so if we will let ourselves - we will! After going through step 1 and 2 (previous posts in this topic), it is time to start changing something. We already decided that we want to live, and live a better life, and we (hopefully) found out why exactly we were miserable. Now time to try and heal the pain, because if you really want something, it will happened, especially if it is inside of our own heads. Personally, my…

Knuckles push-ups challenge

In order to move forward, to grow, to get stronger (in my opinion), we need to push some limits. Being so depressed, I often feel urge to hurt myself, so I decided to make some use of it, instead of just cutting myself. When I was a kid, I used to do a karate and I was a tough girl, so since yesterday I decided to make a little challenge for myself, and everyone is welcome to join me! I named this challenge “knuckles push-ups challenge” (I know, very creative!). The point is to do knuckles push-ups on the outside surface (asphalt, concrete, balcony floor in my case), even if you use your knees as a support. To complete this first challenge I/you need to be able to do 10…
