Question #5: How to turn life back to happiness

Hello, my friends! I hope you were able to find your way through the depression, as I did. I hope that my writing could help you, at least a little bit. Now this is the time for a final article about fighting depression, which speaks about the final stage, when the pain or emptiness transfers into joy or happiness. This is the stage, where person gets healed as much, as possible. In previous article I listed things which can help to change focus and start enjoying your life again. Did it help? Do you feel better? Now the best thing to seek, the real cure - is love 💘. Love and feeling of security counters a lot of negativity and brighten up the hope. Of course, finding love is not…

Question #4. How to fill the emptiness?

Now when the sharpest pain is no more presented (whatever helped you, time or pills), it is time to find a new purpose in life and how to make it meaningful again. For me that was a big problem, because whole my life, since I was a teenager, my purpose was to build a relationship, which should lead to a loving family. This didn’t work quite well and now I know why (I learned a lot about phycology behind women and relationships in general). Either way, my life was (is?) so empty and meaningless, that it was terrifying. When I was in pain, nothing was helping me, because every positive thing was reminding me that I cannot share it with Him, so it never will be like it used to…

Question #3: What resources use for help?

There are many things that can help with depression: seeing a counselor, antidepressant pills, reading motivational books/blogs, hanging out with friends, new hobby. I would suggest to try them all, starting from the end of the list and see at what point you will feel better. As humans, we can heal, so if we will let ourselves - we will! After going through step 1 and 2 (previous posts in this topic), it is time to start changing something. We already decided that we want to live, and live a better life, and we (hopefully) found out why exactly we were miserable. Now time to try and heal the pain, because if you really want something, it will happened, especially if it is inside of our own heads. Personally, my…

Chester Bennington

As many of you know, Chester Bennington, singer of Linking Park, had commuted suicide. I personally like this group, so it was a sad news for me. Many great people took their own life. Artists usually are sensitive and/or hurt inside, that’s why their art can touch hearts. Because it is real. What I wanted to talk about is tho, a cowardice. I’ve heard on the radio “dumb people called him a coward”. I don’t want put labels of being dumb or not, but what I can tell is that these people, who said it, don’t know what depression is and how deep it can be. It is not a cowardice. You know when you actually feel fear? When you are holding blade at your wrist, or pills in your…

Question #2. What is the biggest cause of my pain?

It is too early to answer the question “how to stop the pain?”. I didn’t find this answer yet, but I found an answer on another important question. Why it is important? Because to really solve the problem, you need to find the root of it. I heard many times that finding the truth is helpful, because when you realize that something was dictated (for example) by your childhood’s trauma, you can let it go easier, so I researched for my answer. I couldn’t find it at first: my childhood was good, my teenage years were fine, my family was great. So why I don’t feel like a whole without a man? Why being myself and being with myself doesn’t make me happy? And why now I am in such…
